The FaCT goals listed below are not in priority order. All FaCT goals have equal priority:
1. Promote safety and permanency in homes and communities through prevention efforts aimed at child abuse, domestic violence, gang activity, and substance abuse.
2. Increase accessibility to health and mental health care including preventative health care and substance abuse treatment.
3. Increase availability and accessibility of quality child care and youth programs.
4. Assist families in obtaining access to resources so that they may achieve economic self-sufficiency.
5. Strengthen parenting skills among biological, kinship, foster and adoptive parents, and blended families.
6. Assist students in achieving success in school.
7. Build the capacity of communities to address the needs of children, youth and families. |
