Youth Action Council Meeting @ Family Oasis Resource Center
Jul 30 2019 @ 4:00 pm – Jun 30 2020 @ 5:00 pm

The Family Oasis Resource Center YAC is a space where the voices of Anaheim youth, ages 12-18, can be heard. The youth freely express their interests, talents, community concerns, and youth need concerns. Youth are able to participate in numerous Family Oasis Family Resource Center activities and community events. Youth are also provided with mentorship opportunities, job training, and college prep readiness. Moreover, the Family Oasis FRC will incorporate activities and techniques that can help youth lead a healthier lifestyle; for instance, stress management activities and relaxation techniques. The Youth will be obtaining community service hours, learn and develop skills in the Human Services Field. Through all of this, we hope that youth will grow into empowered and conscious youth leaders and become effective mentors to younger generations while making a positive impact in their community.
